Thanks for creating this group.I think this is what a 21st century teacher/educator must be aware of.It is the need of the hour to understand and learn various possiblities of using VLE. I tried creating Self learning lessons on Moodle and eXe. At present I am using Blog/Wiki/Podcast/Slides for teaching learning Mathematics.

Ramon - Thank you very much for becoming our angel with NING. I look forward to hearing/seeing your ideas.

I teach in a small (250 students) Charter High School. I am currently in charge of placing all of our courses online. We are using Moodle with MoodleRooms managing our accounts. We will integrate Google Apps and MS Live@edu. I work directly with our teachers to assist them in the development of their courses. This process is expected to take the entire year.

I hold a MA in Educational Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning from New Mexico State University.

Hi Jim,

you can check WIRIS Moodle tools at our demo site.
www.wiris.com/demo-moodle/

- Equation editor
- CAS online
- Mathematical assessment tool

If you have your own Moodle it is easy to install them. In your case, if you were interested we should see it with MoodleRooms team.

I use Moodlehub hosted by Key To School because I am the only teacher of 109 on my campus that uses Moodle. I tried to get our tech to set up a Moodle server but he never seemed to get around to it, so I found a free alternative. Also, thank you for keeping Mathematics 24x7 going!

I work with teachers across the state of Kentucky on a variety of projects around tech integration. We don't use Moodle for any of our initiatives because we partner with the department of education and they use Blackboard. However, several schools that we work with support Moodle. I'm always looking for ways for teachers to utilize their LMS more effectively. I've come across Wiris several times recently and i love the CAS!!! Is there any way of having it integrate with Blackboard? (I know I'm dreaming).

Integration with Blackboard is a important priority for us. We would like to have news soon, however it will probably be ready for next school year (2011-2012).
